The DV-F980L Link battery offers all the features of our DV-F970L but with the advantage of a higher capacity output. To the eye they are no different, but the DV-F980L is a 52Watt battery delivering an output of 7200 milliamps. This give the user approximately 10% more run time. This unique battery is the beginning of our DV Link Battery-System, which allows the operator to power and mount additional hardware from a single camera battery (lamps/hard disk recorders/radio mics). This is achieved via a series of 'Link' power adaptors and mount that integrate with the battery and each other.
